Today at parent/teacher conferences, a parent told me that their son told them that I was moving to outer space and that he was really concerned because it was so far away.
Sometimes I feel like it is that far away.
Red dirt is everywhere in Sierra Leone. It covers your house, your clothes, and especially the bottom of your feet. My feet have walked the dusty red streets of Sierra Leone and I will never be the same again.
