Football on the playgroud

Today at recess, the kids decided that they wanted to play a football game. They have been watching the Broncos game at home. So we had a little football game at school, and I must admit that my kids were playing better then the Broncos. They amazed me with how well they could catch the ball. We did have one split lip when a child was tackled. Tackling was against the rules, but how do you stop a group of boys from tackling in a game of football. They were so proud of themselves. We even had team huddles and made plans. It was seriously the cutest thing. I even had a little girl playing, who showed up all the boys in her running abilities. The little joys of being a teacher!
