And here are some more photos from my time in the Dominican Republic.
Here we are at a school in one of the batteys where Children of the Nations works. The batteys are areas that compromise mostly of Haitian immigrants who came to work in the sugar cane fields. These areas are much poorer then the rest of Barahona.
The whole team at another school. We operate 5 schools in 5 different locations.
These wonderful women were the ones who cooked for us while we were there. These women had really kind hearts and were an example of the kind of servants that Christ calls us to be.
I had the priviledge of meeting with Teresa to talk about the University program and the students in the program.
