My friends Joanna and Taylor, sent me a list of things to remember as I adjust back to life here in America.
1. It is normal for the temperature to drop below 75 degrees. Grab a blanket and your winter coat and you should be fine.
2. No matter how slow the car ahead of you is going, it is still illegal to cross that double yellow line. (shoulders not allowed either)
3. The pipes are still underground, however they have upgraded to a less brittle material than plastic and are quite deep. Therefore there is no shortage of water and it would be appreciated if you flush on all occasions.
4. 99% of all animals around you are worm free and you should feel encouraged to pet away!
5. Leave the cup in the Kitchen, you won't be needing it in the shower and you should not mistake heavy rains as outdoor cleansing opportunities.
6. Though you could get away with it, it will be slightly more embarrassing to hang your underwear outside. (or in your room for that matter)
7. Fine has different meanings here....try sticking with good:)
8. For a special treat, try the light switch in the middle of the day. You don't even have to switch to NP.
9. If you find yourself desiring to purchase...well anything...most prices are set here. Trying to tell the cashier your their friend won't reduce the price.
10. Coming means your are on your way, Go means to depart.
