Our students have instituted show and tell. Not really sure how it happened, but all of a sudden kids are bringing in things for show and tell. They love it so much that we have decided to continue.
Today was the most interesting show and tell by far.
"What did you bring for show and tell?"-teacher
"A leg"-student
"Oh you brought a leg to share with us."-teacher
"Yes"-student
"What's it from."-teacher
"A man."-student
(At this point both teachers are dying laughing that we can't continue show and tell)
"Ms. Saunier, its not nice to laugh at people."-other students
So, if you are lacking show and tell items, you can always break a plastic toy and simply bring in one of the body parts.

thanks for the laugh! You have no idea how much I needed that today.
Hilarious!
Our kids tried to do the same thing. We ended up with a full week of kids bringing rocks from out front of the school to show. Apparently 1st graders lack the imagination of kindergartners.
That is so great!! You gotta love the innocence of kids. Continue with show and tell...you never know what you might find out!
Please keep posting K stories. I don't like them. I love them.
